I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened my package. First of all, these mats come rolled up in a very nice looking tube, I like that touch, I’m actually very big on packaging and even though it does get thrown away, I do appreciate this “high end” feeling. Secondly, the quality of the place mats themselves is amazing, my main concern with my old ones was that they were sliding around my table and it was nearly impossible to keep them looking nice and neat. With these mats, however, I don’t have that problem at all, they don’t move unless you want them to. Plus I really like that one side is textured (leather like) and the other one is just flat, depending on your preference, you can pick whichever one you like better. Overall, I’m very very satisfied with my purchase and I most likely will purchase another set in a different color.

I spent 30+ years of eating off various surfaces including but not limited to: tables, chairs, floors, ground, playground slides, car seats, an infant’s head (it was spaghetti noodles and only once), and various other traditional and non-traditional surfaces. Why didn’t anyone tell me they made special mats JUST FOR EATING ON? These aren’t yoga mats, they’re not gymnastic mats, and definitely not floor mats. You can eat off those if you are in a pinch, but once you try these mats, you’ll never want to eat off anything else. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, and quit eating places that aren’t these place mats.
